Injections is used cosmetically to remove wrinkles as it temporarily paralyzes targeted muscles. However, injections can also be used medically to treat grinding of the teeth. Injections can last up to 3 – 6 months. As the muscle action returns gradually, small lines and wrinkles may reappear and need to be treated again. Injection results can be seen 7 – 10 days after treatment.
